Description
Saint Vitalis of Milan Italy was a wealthy citizen, a soldier, a father to Saints Gervasius and Protasius and married to Saint Valeria. He came with his wife to Ravenna, at the time Saint Ursicinus was to be executed. Saint Vitalis encouraged him to overcome his fear of martyrdom and stay steadfast at his execution. Together with his wife, they buried the holy relic of Ursicinus after his agonizing death. As a result of these actions Saint Valeria and Saint Vitalis, when they returned to Milan, were martyred in 62 A.D. Feast Day is April 28th for Roman Catholic Church
