In the passage of the Gospel of John 10:1-21 Jesus is mentioned as “Good Shepherd” Jesus appears to regulate His life according to the needs of His “sheep”. The same parallelism is used in Psalm 23. Jesus is mentioned as the Good Shepherd in all four Gospels who does not permit to lose any of His sheep. It is a frequent depiction of Christ as Good Shepherd with His sheep and it gives out protection, care and love.
“And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice.” (John 10:16)
