Saints Constantine and Helen

Also know as Constantine the Great, first Roman emperor to recognize Christianity and his mother Helen. Constantine was sovereign of the Christians, under him Christianity triumphed and idolatry was overthrown. Saint Helen, was set to the task of restoring Christian holy places. In her quest to remove pagan temples and rebuild she uncovered the three crosses from crucifiction and the four nails which had pierced the Lord’s Body.
