Saint Sergios

Legend tells us this saint was once an officer of the Roman Army and a good friend of Emperor Maximian. Sergios is then known for refusing the emperors demands for sacrifices to a Pagan god. Firstly, they dragged him through the streets wearing women’s clothing. He was next tortured and beheaded.
