Description
Saint Charbel was and is a miracle worker, it is believed he has performed over 26,000 miracles and counting, which would put him at the top of the list right behind the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph. Born in Lebanon he became a Maronite monk and priest at the Monastery of Saint Maron for 19 years, while there he gained a reputation of holiness. Saint Charbel supported and grew Christianity in Lebanon, Charbel was also known for his ability to unite Christians and Muslims. Saint Charbel was canonized by Pope Paul VI in October 1977 and his Feast Day is July 24 on the Roman Catholic Calendar.
