Description

Francesco Forgione, better known as Padre Pio was born May 28, 1887 and lived until Sept 23, 1968. He was both beatified in 1999 and canonized in 2002 by Pope John Paul II. Saint Pio was an Italian Franciscan Capuchin friar, priest, stigmatist, and mystic. One of Saint Pio’s famous quotes ““Pray, hope, and don’t worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayer.”
